| May 22-24, 2026 | May 23/24 – Ethan Allen Homestead Rustoff | Burlington, VT | Ethan Allen Homestead – we have treated this as a rust-off event for Whitcomb’s for the past few years – last year we slept in the actual house. It was splendid. We encourage all to come! |
| May 30, 2026 | May 30: Ann Story dedication and musket salute. Salisbury, VT | Salisbury, VT | This will be a Green Mountain Boys dedication ceremony at a monument that has been placed to commemorate Ann Story. |
| June 12-14, 2026 | 250th Battle of Trois-Rivieres | Trois-Rivieres, QC | This is an important 250 event commemorating the pivotal battle where the continental army aborted its attempt to wrest Canada from British occupation. Sponsored by 2nd Canadians/King’s Rangers – we would very much like this to be a Whitcomb’s Unit event with maximum attendance. Last year, Whitcomb’s attended the 250th anniversary of St. Jean Sur Richelieu – it was a fantastic event! |
| July 4, 2026 | July 4th Ceremonies at the Battle Monument | Bennington, VT | This is a July 4 ceremony at the Bennington Battle Monument and Town Offices. There will be a musket salute, fireworks, and merriment. |
| July 10-12, 2026 | Battle of Hubbardton | Hubbardton, VT | The Battle of Hubbardton is an annual event for Whitcomb’s. Please prioritize attending this as a Whitcomb’s Unit event. Hosted by the 3rd Mass |
| July 31-August 2, 2026 | Rebels & Redcoats | Old Sturbridge Village, MA | Though not specifically reenacting an historical event, Old Sturbridge Village is a fantastic site with a lot to see and do for a weekend. Whitcomb’s has attended often over the years. Hosted by 2nd Mass. |
| August 14-16, 2026 | Bennington Battle Monument Encampment, Parade | Bennington, VT | Bennington Battle Days is as Vermont as it gets. Let’s support this event in the run-up to the 250th anniversary next year, which Whitcomb’s will be hosting. |
| Aug 21-23, 2026 | 250th Battle of Brooklyn | Brooklyn, NY | This is a unique opportunity to reenact a 250th event of a critical battle on the original soil in Brooklyn NY. The current plan involves battles in Prospect Park, the Old Stone House in Park Slope, and camping at Fort Hamilton in the shadow of the Verrazano Bridge. Hosted by the BAR/3rd NY/2nd NJ. |
| September 4-6, 2026 | MT Independence | Orwell, VT | Mt. I is home turf for Whitcomb’s, and this has been an annual event for a very long time. It tends to be a small event, with trails and public engagement that are unique to this beautiful and historically important site. Hosted by the 3rd MA. |
| Sep 11-13, 2026 | Return to Fort #4 | Charlestown, NH | The Fort at #4 is a re-created wooden fort. Always a fun weekend. Hosted by 2nd MA/10th Reg of Foot. |

| October 9-11, 2026 | Saratoga Siege Weekend | Schuylerville, NY | The last few years, Whitcomb’s has been invited to Saratoga/Schuylerville to drill, battle, camp, and engage with the public on this hallowed ground. Join us again as we build up to the 250th anniversary of Saratoga in 2027. This year, we’ll be at Fort Hardy Park again. |
| October 17, 2026 | 250th Anniversary of founding of Whitcomb’s Rangers, Salmon Hole, NH | Lisbon, NH | Honor our namesake, Benjamin Whitcomb by commemorating the 250th anniversary of the founding of our unit at his grave site at Salmon Hole near Lisbon NH.
